Steps for correct installation and maintenance of planetary gear motors

The correct installation and maintenance of the planetary gear motor is the key to the normal operation of the planetary gear motor. Therefore, when you install the planetary gear motor, please be sure to install it strictly according to the following installation sequence.


Step 1: Before installation, it should be confirmed whether the motor and planetary gear reducer are complete and undamaged, and whether the size of each part connected to the motor and reducer is strictly aligned. This refers to the dimensions and common tolerances between the positioning boss and shaft diameter of the drive motor flange and the positioning groove and aperture of the reducer flange; wipe and deal with dirt and burrs on the common surface.

Step 2: Unscrew the screw plug on the process hole on the side of the reducer flange, turn the input end of the reducer to align the tightening hexagon socket head screw cap with the process hole, insert the hexagon socket tool to loosen and tighten the hold hexagon socket head screw .

Step 3: Hold the drive motor so that the keyway on the shaft is perpendicular to the tightening screw in the input hole of the reducer, and insert the drive motor shaft into the input hole of the reducer. When inserting, it must be ensured that the concentricity of the two is equal and that the flanges on both sides are parallel. If the heart rate is different or the flanges on both sides are not bent, the reason must be found out. In addition, during installation, it is strictly forbidden to use hammering, that is, it can prevent the axial force or radial force of the hammering from damaging the two bearings, and you can judge whether the two are compatible through the installation feel. The key to determine the concentricity of the two and the parallelism of the flanges is: after the two are inserted into each other, the flanges of the two are basically tight, and the holes are equal.

Step 4: In order to ensure that the two flanges are connected evenly, firstly screw on the fastening screws of the drive motor freely, but do not tighten them; then slowly tighten the four fastening screws in diagonal positions; finally tighten the planetary gears The input port hole of the geared motor is fastened to the screw. Be sure to tighten the drive motor fastening screws first, and then tighten the reducer input hole holding screws. Meticulous: The correct placement between the reducer and the machine equipment is similar to the precise placement between the planetary gear reducer and the drive motor. The key is to ensure the concentricity of the output shaft of the planetary reducer and the input shaft of the driven part. With the continuous in-depth development of the application of control motors, the application of planetary gear motors in the field of motion control drives will also increase.
