How does the motor achieve deceleration?

We are all familiar with motors , which are widely used in modern industry. Insome application scenarios, we don't need such a high speed, so how do we slow down? The deceleration method of three- phase asynchronous motor usually adopts two methods: reducer and frequency converter. 


1. The reducer is also called a reduction box and a reducer; the function of the reducer is to reduce /lower the speed, increase/raise the torque, and reduce/lower the inertia. It is a mechanical transmission device used to connect the motor and equipment. According to the function and structure, the reducer is divided into gear reducer and planetary reducer, and according to the material, it is divided into fast material and plastic material; regardless of the detailed performance and parameters of gear, planetary, metal and plastic reducer, the following is the reducer. Similarity:

①The reducer is manufactured according to the technical requirements.

②Space-saving, reliable and durable, able to withstand overload.

③Low energy consumption.

④Small vibration, low noise, energy saving, high-quality section steel material (or special material), steel cast iron box body, and gear surface undergoes frequency heat treatment.

⑤ After precision machining and positioning accuracy, the gear reduction motor that constitutes the gear transmission assembly is equipped with various motors and small motors.

⑥The product adopts the serialized and modularized design concept, and has certain adaptability. This series of products has many motor combinations, installation positions and structural schemes, and any speed and various structural forms can be selected according to actual needs.

Second, the frequency converter achieves the purpose of motor (motor) speed regulation by changing the AC frequency. When the motor speed is reduced/lowered by the frequency converter , the purpose of energy saving can be achieved.
