Four factors for selecting gear reduction motors

The reduction motor refers to the components of the reduction box and the motor. This component can also be called a gearbox motor or a reduction motor, which is usually integrated and assembled by professional reducer manufacturers and supplied as a complete set.


  Gear motors are widely used and are indispensable power transmission equipment for automated machinery and equipment, especially packaging machinery, printing machinery, corrugated machinery, color box machinery, conveying machinery, food machinery, multi-story parking equipment, automatic warehousing, multi-story warehouses, chemical industry, textile, dyeing and finishing equipment. Micro gear motors are also widely used in electronic locks, optical equipment, precision instruments, financial equipment and other fields.
Gear motor
   The selection of reduction motors should be based on the principles of practicality, economy and safety, and their power, type and model should be correctly selected according to production requirements to ensure smooth production.
1. Economical choice
  Generally speaking, imported products are much more expensive than domestic ones, and products from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are more expensive than domestic ones. (The specific situation depends on the specific needs of the enterprise). In the current reducer market, whether imported or domestic, most manufacturers have their own naming standards, so find a sample of the gear reduction motor and choose the model according to the sample.
2. Type selection
  There are two types of gear reduction motors: cage type and wire wound type. Cage type reduction motors have a simple structure, are easy to maintain, and are inexpensive, but have poor starting performance and can be used for production machinery that starts with no load or light load; wire wound reduction motors have large starting torque and small starting current, but have a complex structure and are difficult to start and maintain. They can only be used in places that require large starting torque, such as lifting equipment, and can also be used in mechanical equipment that requires appropriate speed regulation.
3. Choice of power
  The power selection of the gear reduction motor is determined by the production machinery, that is, the power required by the load. The motor power required by the reduction motor is as follows: Motor power = torque 9550 motor power input speed ratio use factor.
4. Selection of speed
  The speed of the gear motor is close to the synchronous speed, and the magnetic field speed is graded by the pole pair number P, and there is no speed between the two gears. The speed selection principle of the gear motor is to be as close to the speed of the production machinery as possible, thereby simplifying the rotating device.
