A few days ago, Netcom learned from overseas media insideevs that the BMW Group's sales of pure electric vehicles in the second quarter of 2022 increased by 85%, and the sales of plug-in hybrid models increased by 14.3% year-on-year. The BMW Group reported global car sales of 563,536 units in the second quarter of 2022, down nearly 20 percent from a year earlier, and cumulative sales in the first half of 2022 to 1,160,443 units, down 13 percent from a year earlier.

Specifically, the BMW brand sold 496,745 vehicles globally in the second quarter, down 20% year-on-year; the MINI brand sold 65,224 vehicles globally in the second quarter, down 22% year-on-year; the BMW Group sold 563,536 vehicles in the second quarter, down 20% year-on-year. Among them, China's sales in the second quarter fell by more than 28% to 170,220 units, and in the first half of the year, they fell nearly 19% year-on-year to 378,727 units.
