The main function of motor winding varnishing
The motor varnishing process refers to an important process flow after the motor has completed the winding embedding, conductor connection , fixation, winding end shaping and other processes. The biggest impact on the performance of the motor in this process is the motor's " life " . Winding varnishing is a very important process in motor maintenance.
The varnishing of the motor winding is to make the insulating varnish penetrate between the insulating material and the electromagnetic wire, and between the winding and the iron core, and form a varnish film on the surface of these parts to enhance the insulation ability and increase the insulation life of the motor.
Specifically, winding varnishing has the following effects.
1 ) Improve the heat resistance and thermal conductivity of the winding. Before varnishing, the insulation gap of the winding is filled with air, and the thermal conductivity is poor. After varnishing, the insulating varnish fills all the gaps in the winding insulation, and the thermal conductivity is greatly increased. After the varnish film is formed on the varnishing part, the contact with the air is reduced, the oxidation process is delayed, and the heat resistance is also improved.
2 ) Improve the electrical properties of the winding insulation. After varnishing, the winding turns , phases and gaps in the insulation layer are filled with insulating varnish, which basically eliminates bubbles and forms solid insulation with strong pressure resistance, thereby improving the electrical properties of the winding insulation.
3 ) Improve the moisture resistance and chemical stability of the winding insulation. Before varnishing, moisture and water will cause the insulation material to age and deteriorate. After varnishing, the insulating varnish fills the capillaries and gaps of the insulating material and forms a smooth paint film, making it difficult for moisture and water to penetrate, and dust and corrosive gases cannot directly contact the winding. In addition, the winding insulation treated with special varnishing also has the ability to prevent dew , corona , corrosion and oil pollution.
4 ) Improve the mechanical strength of the winding. After varnishing, the wires of the winding are bonded together to form a solid whole, thereby strengthening the mechanical strength of the winding and reducing the loosening and wear of the insulation caused by electromagnetic force , vibration and thermal expansion.
