Is it better to have a brushless motor controller as a complete set?

Is it better to have a brushless motor controller as a complete set or customized individually?

Simply put, a brushless motor controller is a control device that can be used to provide a closed-loop commutation control signal for a three-phase brushless motor . It mainly includes three parts: a power conversion circuit, a microcontroller (single-chip microcomputer or DSP or other processor), and a signal input and output circuit. The controller stores the working program of the controller. It can accurately control and effectively control the motor (such as motor start and stop, speed control, direction control, displacement control) by detecting the position sensor of the DC motor. The control performs dynamic real-time monitoring and effectively protects the motor, solving the technical problems of being unable to dynamically monitor the motor in real time, inaccurate control, and unreliable protection. So when choosing a brushless motor control circuit, is it better to choose a built-in drive circuit such as Xinda Motor, or is it better to separate the motor and the drive part?

As we all know, the brushless motor driver or control circuit is used to control the brushless motor, so there will inevitably be a problem of coordination between them. In the built-in drive mode of Xinda Motor, the performance coordination of both the motor and the driver was considered in the early stage of research and development, so the two are the most suitable for each other. However, this does not mean that it cannot be used with other drivers. This needs to be judged according to the specific drive solution, because each drive solution has different design ideas, and the effects it presents and the coordination it needs to provide are also different. Generally, brushless motor drive solution design companies also need to design drive solutions based on the internal circuit of the brushless motor. So in general, as long as the coordination is appropriate, built-in or separate driver is acceptable.

The above statement may easily lead to a misunderstanding, as if if you do not choose the built-in driver, it will become an external one. In fact, this is not the case. The solution of built-in driver for Xinda Motor is that we took the space and usage issues into consideration when designing it. The driver is integrated into the motor to make the whole product look neater and the output lines are organized. If it is used in conjunction with other drivers, because we cannot guarantee whether the driver provided by the other party can be installed in the motor, there is an external processing solution.
