How to install DC reduction motor

Date:2023-12-22 Author:XINDA MOTOR
DC geared motors are widely used in various industries and are therefore loved by many users. Many people who use or purchase equipment are confused during the installation process. Therefore, the editor introduces the installation method of the equipment in detail.
  (1) When installing a DC reduction motor, attention should be paid to the alignment of the transmission position, and the error should not be greater than the usage compensation of the coupling used. Good alignment can extend the service life and achieve ideal transmission efficiency.
  (2) When installing transmission parts on the output shaft, it is not allowed to hit it with a hammer. Usually, the internal threads of the assembly clamp and the shaft end are used to press the transmission components into the transmission components with bolts, otherwise the internal parts of the DC reduction motor may be damaged. It is recommended not to use rigidly fixed couplings. Improper installation of such couplings will cause external loads, leading to early damage to the bearings and even fracture of the output shaft.
  (3) The DC reduction motor should be firmly installed on a stable foundation or base, the oil in the oil tank should be drained, and the cooling air circulation should be smooth. The foundation is unreliable, causing vibration and noise during operation, and damaging bearings and gears. When the transmission coupling has protrusions or gears and sprockets are used in the transmission, consideration should be given to installing a protective device. When the output bearing is subject to a large radial load, it should be selected.
  (4) According to the designated installation device, ensure that the operator can easily access the oil mark, vent plug and oil drain plug. After the installation is in place, check the accuracy of the installation position and the reliability of the compression of each fastener in turn. After installation, it should be able to rotate flexibly. The DC reducer is splash lubricated by an oil pool. Before operation, the user should remove the vent plug and replace it with the vent plug. According to different installation positions, open the screw of the oil level plug and check the height of the oil pipe. Add oil through the oil level plug until the lubricating oil overflows from the screw hole of the oil level plug. After screwing on the oil level plug and ensuring that it is correct, a no-load test run of not less than 2 hours can be carried out. The operation should be smooth and free of shock, vibration, noise and oil leakage. If abnormalities are found, they should be eliminated in time. After some time, check the oil level again to prevent possible leaks caused by the casing. If the ambient temperature is too high or too low, the lubricating oil can be replaced.
According to the editor's introduction to the use and installation of DC reduction motors, this article explains it in detail. In future operation and use, it is recommended that you read the instructions and precautions carefully before use to ensure the normal use of the equipment.
