Up to now, Xiangdian Group has developed more than 3,000 high-efficiency and energy-saving motor models, and is one of the enterprises shortlisted for the largest number of national "energy-saving products benefiting the people". The running high-efficiency and energy-saving motors save 1.6 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, which is equivalent to saving 4.6 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 9.2 million tons.


In March 2022, the first domestic high-efficiency permanent magnet direct drive system for mining flotation machines independently developed by Xiangdian Group passed the commissioning and customer acceptance, and the energy saving rate of the transformed system reached more than 35%. Taking 75kW equipment as an example, a single equipment can save about 150,000 yuan in electricity costs and reduce carbon emissions by about 209 tons a year.

In April 2022, my country's first 1-megawatt flywheel energy storage device developed by Xiangdian Group completed installation, commissioning, and grid-connected application on Qingdao Metro Line 3. This product currently has the largest single power in China, has completely independent intellectual property rights, and its various performances have reached the world's advanced level, breaking the foreign technology monopoly in this field. It is estimated that after the comprehensive promotion and application of Qingdao Metro, it can save 15% of traction energy consumption, 50 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year for the line network, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 50,000 tons per year.

Low-temperature waste heat power generation can reduce energy consumption and improve energy utilization. In May 2022, the prototype of the 315kW ORC low-temperature waste heat power generation system independently developed by Xiangdian Group successfully realized power generation. ORC is an effective technical way to recover low-temperature heat energy. The ORC system developed by Xiangdian has a power generation efficiency of 84%. Such an ORC system can provide 1.8 million kWh of clean electricity every year, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 1,700 Ton.

In March 2022, the 100-ton dump truck electric energy substitution research and application project undertaken by Xiangdian Group successfully passed the project acceptance. The successful R&D and production of Xiangdian's 120-ton pure electric dump truck has filled the gap in the domestic 100-ton pure electric off-highway mining dump truck, and also marks the realization of the fully autonomous electrification of domestic 100-ton mining dump trucks.


Transportation is one of the key areas of carbon emission in my country. The permanent magnet traction system and high-speed magnetic levitation traction system developed by Xiangdian Group will greatly promote the low-carbonization level of rail transit vehicles and improve energy-saving efficiency.


At present, the key core technologies such as motors and track control systems for high-speed maglev rail transit systems independently developed by Xiangdian Group, and their engineering technologies have been verified. For example, a product developed by Xiangdian uses a permanent magnet synchronous motor instead of an internal combustion engine as the drive system, which can meet the requirements of high-speed traction and low-speed grinding operations at the same time. Compared with traditional internal combustion locomotives, energy consumption can be reduced by 10%.


In December 2021, the first electric passenger car of the first phase project of the West Ring Line of Changzhou-Zhuzhou-Tanzhou Intercity Rail Transit was successfully delivered. The traction motors on this car were all manufactured by Xiangdian Group. Xiangdian's traction motor has the advantages of small size, light weight, low noise and high efficiency, and it has also realized the localization of motor insulation structural materials for the first time.


In the field of ships, the all-electric power system developed by Xiangdian Group has overcome the new large-capacity high-speed integrated power generation technology, using new permanent magnet propulsion or new induction propulsion as the power unit, which greatly improves the ship power layout.
