How to accurately configure the geared motor
Founded in 2010, Xinda Motor is a manufacturing enterprise that develops and produces precision drive systems. Provide drive scheme design, mold manufacturing, parts production and assembly services for customers all over the world. The products mainly involve auto parts, industrial equipment, smart home, micro geared motors , and chemical gearboxes.
Along with the steady development of the automation industry, more and more products need to use geared motors, such as automatic conveyor belts, electric seats, lift desks, etc. But when faced with geared motors of different models, how to quickly and accurately choose a geared motor suitable for your own product is very important.
Perhaps many buyers have encountered such a thing. Obviously, the calculated motor needs 30w, with a reducer with a reduction ratio of 5:1, but the output often fails to meet expectations, resulting in direct or indirect economic losses. What are the reasons for this to happen? Here, I will briefly summarize a few points for you. First, when we choose a motor, we should first check whether the rated speed, power, and rated torque of the motor can meet our requirements. For example: I need to make a lifting device, and I need a The speed is 20RPM, and the output is 2N.M geared motor. Through a series of formulas, we can conclude that only a 4W geared motor is needed to meet our design requirements, but in fact this is not the case, and the actual product is much slower. This is the question of efficiency that we are going to mention. The efficiency of ordinary brushed motors is only about 50%, while that of brushless motors can reach 70%~80%. Don't forget that the general planetary reducer efficiency is above 80% (depending on the number of drive stages), so for the selection of the above-mentioned geared motor, you should choose a geared motor of about 8~15W .
