What is a micro geared motor gear reducer?

Date:2022-12-27 Author:XINDA MOTOR
The micro-reduction motor is a relatively common transmission accessory, which can provide low-speed and high-torque output. The diameter of the gear reducer of the micro-reduction motor is generally below 38mm, and the reduction ratio is 2~2000. Common materials for geared motor gearboxes are metal or plastic. The commonly used reducers (gearboxes) for micro-reduced motors are gear reducers, DC reducers, planetary reducers, hollow cup reducers, etc. The following briefly introduces these micro-gear motors.

1. Miniature gear reducer motor:

The micro gear reduction motor is a closed transmission reduction device driven by a micro motor. It is a combination of micro motor and reducer. Its main function is to reduce the speed, increase the torque, and change the axial direction.

2. Miniature DC geared motor:

Micro DC reducer motor is a gear reducer assembled on the premise of ordinary micro DC motor. The reducer provides torque for different speeds, including electric locks, adult products, toy cars, and 3D printing pens used in car phone holders.

3. Miniature planetary gear motor:

Compared with other geared motors, the miniature planetary geared motor has higher rigidity and precision, and its structure is different from other geared motors. There is a sun gear in the middle, and three planetary gears rotate around the sun gear to increase the output torque of the micro-motor and reduce the speed.

4. Coreless micro-gear motor:

The difference between the hollow cup micro geared motor is that the rotor structure of the micro motor is different. Traditional micro DC motors use iron core rotors, while coreless motor rotors do not have iron cores. This structure reduces the weight and volume of the miniature geared motor in many ways, and eliminates the eddy current loss of the general iron core rotor. The hollow cup miniature geared motor is a high-efficiency motor with an efficiency as high as 98%.
