In recent years, low-speed electric vehicles have become increasingly popular in overseas markets They have been sold to more than countries and regions. The export of low-speed electric vehicles has become a new profit growth point for manufacturers and merchants .
Low-speed electric vehicles are already popular in the United States

Recently, a young man from a mountain village in Guizhou Province started a business in the United States and sold "low-speed tricycles", which became popular on the Internet! After seeing the video of the "low-speed tricycle" going viral in the United States, the young man immediately contacted two friends and decided to start his own business.

Speaking of "low-speed electric vehicles", many people may not be familiar with them. In fact, they are what we often call electric tricycles and electric four-wheelers. In China, this type of vehicle may not be very popular and may even be easily disliked. But in the United States, this thing has become a hot commodity!

According to the young man, when Americans first saw the "low-speed tricycle", their eyes lit up and they all said, "This car is amazing! I love it!" When they learned the price, they placed orders without hesitation. On the first day alone, they earned $10,000 (about RMB 70,000) . This speed of making money is really enviable.

Since electric tricycles became popular in the United States, orders have been pouring in like snowflakes. It is said that orders from the United States have doubled, and there has even been a buying frenzy in many places. Those magical brainwashing "Please pay attention when reversing" horns have also resounded throughout the streets and alleys of the United States. After New Year's Day 2024, the number of electric tricycles exported to the United States has doubled year-on-year.

Low-speed electric vehicles are already popular in Europe

At the new energy vehicle factory in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, orders from Europe are pouring in, with some companies' overseas orders increasing by 30% year-on-year.

At this new energy vehicle factory in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, workers are busy working on the assembly line, assembling and producing new electric tricycles. In the finished vehicle storage area, brand new electric low-speed four-wheelers and electric tricycles are neatly arranged, waiting to be loaded into containers and shipped to Europe.

Europe has been a traditional market for related companies for a long time. The exported electric tricycles for cargo and low-speed electric four-wheel vehicles for general use are very popular among local people. However, in the past two years, the markets in Southeast Asia, Africa and South America have also been heating up. Since the beginning of this year, the sales of new energy vehicles to overseas markets have increased by 30% year-on-year.

Why are low-speed vehicles so popular overseas?

First, low-speed vehicles have been widely welcomed in Africa, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Europe and the United States due to their price advantage, low cost of use, strong road adaptability and environmental protection. Especially in developing countries, low-speed electric vehicles, as an economical and practical means of transportation, meet the travel needs of local residents.

Second, as the world pays more attention to environmental protection and energy conservation, low-speed electric vehicles, as a green travel mode, are gradually favored by more consumers. In some developed countries, low-speed electric vehicles have become a fashionable travel choice, especially in short-distance travel in cities and community transportation.

Third, there are no regulatory constraints in economically underdeveloped regions, while in economically developed Europe and the United States, there are clear standards and specifications for low-speed electric vehicles, and low-speed electric vehicles that meet the requirements can be legally sold and put on the road.

Fourth, economically developed areas often have very obvious traffic congestion, and ordinary people also have to face expensive parking fees. It is precisely because of these problems that people's daily travel is full of troubles. Compared with traditional cars, low-speed cars are small in size and flexible and convenient to operate. Even on narrow roads, it can shuttle freely. Driving such a car on the road, there is no need to worry about traffic jams or parking, which saves both time and money.

Low-speed vehicles are practical and cheap, and the relaxed management policies in foreign countries have made them popular overseas. It can be said that "flowers bloom inside the wall and are fragrant outside the wall." Reflecting on the management of low-speed vehicles in China, we should not "ban them outright" and abandon such a good means of transportation. Instead, we should refer to the relaxed management policies in foreign countries and formulate standards to support low-speed vehicles on the road.
